The cooperation of BAS Department FF UPJŠ with Uzbek medical universities continues within Erasmus+ programme

Lecturers of the BAS Department FF UPJŠ, Mgr. Renáta Timková, PhD. and Dr. h. c. doc. Mgr. Slávka Tomaščíková, PhD., visited Uzbek Medical Universities within their Erasmus+ Teaching Mobilities.

They taught aspects of ESP, Medical English and Cultural Studies to the students and new methods of teaching ESP and EMI in the context of medical education to teachers of foreign languages. During the workshops and masterclasses they shared their experience in these fields as well as discussed the possible project cooperation.

The cooperation of UPJŠ and Uzbek Medical Institutes that already brought results in, among others, joint publication of a textbook for the students of anatomy by the UPJŠ Institute of Anatomy and the Faculty of Anatomy of the Buchara State Medical Institute were broadened into further field of English language teaching and instruction.
