SLE 2027 in Košice: From 25 to 28 August 2027, Košice, Slovakia, will host the 60th Annual Meeting of the Societas Linguistica Europaea (SLE), one of the leading international scientific events in the field of linguistics. The conference will bring together hundreds of linguists and researchers from across the world to present and discuss the latest developments and findings in linguistic research, while fostering academic exchange and international collaboration.
The annual SLE meeting provides a broad interdisciplinary platform covering a wide range of areas in the study of language. The conference programme will address topics including phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, sociolinguistics, linguistic typology, psycholinguistics, language contact, and other interdisciplinary approaches to language research. For four days, Košice will become a vibrant international meeting point for scholars representing diverse linguistic traditions, research perspectives, and academic backgrounds. The conference will provide ample opportunities for presenting cutting-edge research, engaging in scholarly discussion, exchanging ideas and expertise, and establishing new international research networks and collaborations.
