Human Resources Strategy for Researchers at UPJŠ (HRS4R)

The Human Resources Strategy for Researchers supports research institutions in implementation of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for Recruitment of Researchers in their policies and procedures. Once the implementation process of the Charter and Code of Conduct principles is successfully completed, the European Commission grants “HR Excellence in Research Award” (HR Award), which in the European Research Area is a guarantee of the European standard of care for employees and quality of work environment.

In January 2020, Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in its letter addressed to the European Commission expressed its intention to implement HRS4R at UPJŠ and assumed the obligation towards the European Commission to follow the principles of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for Recruitment of Researchers.

At present the intensive multi-level activities are carried out, leading to implementation of HRS4R at our University.
