Cooperation Agreement with the Ministry of Defense of the Slovak Republic (2026)
The aim of this partnership is to actively link the academic community with real-world practice in the field of national defense and security.
A key benefit of the agreement is the creation of a formal framework for students to undertake professional internships at the Ministry of Defense of the Slovak Republic. This is not merely about passively observing processes. The agreement explicitly states that the internship may also include student participation in research within the Armed Forces of the Slovak Republic for academic purposes.

Memorandum with Slovak Smart City Cluster (2026)
The aim of this cooperation is to connect the academic environment with professional and technological practice and to jointly develop activities in the field of Smart City solutions, innovations, and modern public policies.

The participants in the memorandum agreed to cooperate in coordinating activities aimed at successfully searching for and selecting high-quality graduates of he Faculty of Public Administration of the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice for VVS, a.s., on the possibility of short-term internships or professional practice for he Faculty of Public Administration of the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice students at VVS, a.s., as well as the possibility of using the expert capacity of he Faculty of Public Administration of the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice to prepare expert opinions or expert statements for VVS, a.s.

Memorandum of Cooperation with Trebišov City (2025)
The participants in the memorandum agreed on cooperation in the area of territorial self-government and on exchange of information and knowledge.

Memorandum of Cooperation with the Association of Chief Auditors of Cities and Municipalities of the Slovak Republic (2025)
The participants in the memorandum agreed on mutual cooperation, particularly in creating conditions conducive to public administration based on the principles of transparency, openness, participation, and accountability (the values of open government), in the development of civil society, its education and cultivation, progress based on the principles of contemporary scientific knowledge and compliance with legal, moral and ethical principles, in participation in selected educational and research projects that will be of interest to both parties to the memorandum, and in other support activities and cooperation.

The area of cooperation will focus on: participation in selected educational and research projects, providing expert consultations in selected areas, deepening and acquiring theoretical and practical experience in the social sciences and management through professional internships for students of the Faculty of Public Administration at Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice, participation in lectures by both parties to the memorandum, participation in various educational and scientific activities

Memorandum of Cooperation with The Association of Cities, Towns and Villages in Slovakia (2020)
The Memorandum commits both parties to mutual cooperation:
in providing internships for students of the faculty in municipal authorities associated in the association,
in the implementation of professional and educational events, personally in the education of elected officials of local government,
in research activities and the use of the expertise of both sides,
in the creation (preparation) of educational and scientific projects,
in mutual and active interaction in the bodies.

Memorandum of Cooperation in the Sphere of Civil Service with the Civil Service Council (2019)
The subject of the Memorandum is close cooperation in the exchange of information with a focus on the civil service, the organization of joint conferences and other professional events, expert consultations in the field of the civil service, the involvement of the staff of the Civil Service Council in the teaching process in the form of expert lectures and participation in the consultation of final theses, as well as the implementation of professional practice of students of the faculty at the workplace of the Civil Service Council.

Agreement on Partnership with the Bratislava Self-Governing Region (2015)
The subject and purpose of the agreement is the implementation of the concluded Agreements on the completion of professional internship between Bratislava Self-Governing Region (hereafter as BSGR) and students of the Faculty of Public Administration of the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice and this agreement allows 2 selected students of the faculty to complete a professional internship at BSGR in the range of 1 to 3 months each year. During this period, the student’s task will be to identify the strengths, weaknesses, undesirable differences at the regional level of economic, social and territorial development of BSGR and its development potential. In addition, he/she will be involved in administrative sub-tasks and familiarise themselves with the professional issues of local government.

Agreement on Mutual Cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic
The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic (hereinafter referred to as the Ministry) organises a programme of short-term student internships as an opportunity for students to get acquainted with the activities of the Ministry – the headquarters (in Bratislava) and the embassies (in individual countries abroad).
