Department of Social Studies
The Department of Social Studies is involved in the education and training of students in the study programs of Public Administration and European Public Administration. It provides education in the administrative-sociological-psychological field with a focus on the problems of public administration organisations. Graduates acquire competence and master activities ranging from self-management, through activities related to working with clients, including knowledge and respect for their specificities, to people management. The research activities of the department are diversified, reflecting the focus and research orientation of its individual teachers. At the same time, their activities are directed towards the achievement of a single goal, which is a high quality profile of graduate faculty in the social field.
