triacylglycerol concentrations in Adv36 seropositive individuals. Affecting Adv36 can be a solution to the problem, which is one of the major health priorities on a national, European and global scale.

Over the past 10 years, several research centers across the world have begun to monitor the prevalence of Adv36 infection and it‘s association with obesity, the Department of

Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine of UPJS LF and DFN in Kosice, under the auspices the head of department, doc. MUDr. Ingrid Schusterova, PhD. Is one of them.

above-mentioned research, which focused on the role of non-traditional risk factors in the pathogenesis of obesity and cardiovascular changes. RNDr. Ján Király, PhD (Kosice), addressed the ADv36 in his

lecture, from the viewpoint of the virologist.
