The center for reproductive gynecology Gyncare, a.s. is a teaching base of the Faculty of Medicine of Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice. It was founded in 2001 as one of the first IVF centers in Slovakia, and in 2016 it was moved to new modern premises, where it offers infertile couples the most modern infertility treatment on an area of 500 m2. During its existence, the center has performed more than 4,000 IVF cycles, after which more than 1,500 children have been born. The center performs more than 400 in vitro fertilization cycles annually, making it one of the largest centers of reproductive medicine in Slovakia.
