The Faculty of Medicine, UPJŠ will enable lower-grade students to acquire and improve practical skills and knowledge from the several preclinical subjects in the form of extraordinary practicals carried out in the summer.
Several dates for practicals of the subjects Anatomy, Histology and Embryology, Biochemistry, Pathological Anatomy, and Microbiology will be offered from June to August. The students of the study programme General Medicine completing the given subject in this academic year will be able to enroll on the mentioned dates. You can find more information on the website in the section of the relevant departments and registration will be possible through the Academic Information System (AIS).
“This special full-time teaching aim is to enable lower-grade students to acquire basic practical knowledge of the important preclinical subjects, as they have been shorted for them during the distance teaching. I believe that students will appreciate this activity and will take advantage of the unique opportunity we have offered them to supplement their knowledge and practical skills. It will be an intensive training of five difficult subjects, while the teachers will try to provide them with the maximum amount of information important for further study in a short time. The summer school is, of course, voluntary and the practicals will be carried out following the valid anti-pandemic regulations,” says the Dean of the FM UPJŠ prof. Daniel Pella, M.D., Ph.D.

Attention: The Medical Library of the University Library UPJŠ will be available to students every day from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. during the Summer School.
