The Faculty of Medicine at Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice has become the most sought-after faculty in Slovakia in the 2024/2025 academic year. According to the summary data of the Slovak Centre of Scientific and Technical Information (CVTI), as many as 2,752 students applied for admission to our faculty, earning us first place among all universities and faculties in Slovakia.
This achievement confirms the strong tradition, high-quality education, and good reputation that the UPJŠ Faculty of Medicine in Košice has been building both at home and abroad for many years.
The Faculty of Medicine sincerely thanks all applicants for their trust and is already looking forward to welcoming new students who will become part of the academic community in Košice.
