On Sunday, 15 March 2026, a spring hiking trip to the Lajoška mountain hut took place, organized by the university Institute of Physical Education and Sport. Through the EURAXESS Welcome Office, our international colleagues were also invited to join the event.
The weather was on our side—pleasant spring temperatures and sunshine created ideal conditions for the hike. We even enjoyed the last patches of snow still covering the ski slope on Jahodná.At Lajoška, we were welcomed by the cozy atmosphere of the mountain hut. Relaxing together on the terrace was a well deserved reward after the ascent.
The event offered a great opportunity for networking between our international colleagues and local participants. They appreciated not only the route itself but also the friendly atmosphere and the chance to spend an active day outdoors.
