On 19 March 2026, representatives of the International Relations and Internationalisation Office and the EURAXESS Welcome Office participated in the conference Working Conditions in Research as a Key to Attracting Talent, held at the STU University Centre in Bratislava. The programme focused on connecting European policies and tools—including the HR Excellence in Research initiative and EURAXESS—with the everyday practice of universities and research institutions.

Among the speakers were representatives of SAIA, n. o., as well as Tomáš Tabiš, Director of the Department of European and International Science Policy at the Ministry of Education, Research, Development and Youth of the Slovak Republic, and Marcel Vysocký, Director General of the Higher Education, Internationalisation and Quality Section at the same ministry. One of the panel discussions, dedicated to the topic Diverse Dimensions of “HR” in Research in the Practice of Academic Institutions, featured our Vice-Rector for Internationalisation, Assoc. Prof. Silvia Ručinská, PhD.

The programme continued the following day with the workshop OTMR in Practice, where we focused on topics related to transparent recruitment procedures.
