Whistleblowing is the reporting, in good faith, of suspected wrongdoing or other misconduct that a person becomes aware of through their employment or another similar relationship.
Acting in good faith means acting as a natural person who, based on the circumstances known to them and the information available to them at the time of making the report, has reasonable grounds to believe that the facts reported are true.

A whistleblowing report may be submitted: in writing (by post or by delivery to the UPJŠ Registry Office in Košice). The envelope containing the report must be sealed and clearly marked “Whistleblowing Report – DO NOT OPEN”; or electronically by email to the responsible person at oznamenia@upjs.sk, including anonymously.
Whistleblowing is governed by Rector’s Decision No. 23/2023 on the Implementation of Act No. 54/2019 Coll. on the Protection of Whistleblowers and on Amendments and Supplements to Certain Acts at Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice and its parts.
