The Faculty of Arts and the Faculty of Public Administration organised a public discussion with assoc. prof. Ihor O. Shnitzer, CSc. of the Faculty of History and International Relations, Uzhorod National University on the current challenges in digital transformation in the context of Ukrainian HEIs. The discussion was held as part of the Euridice project.
Assoc. prof. Shnitzer has introduced the challenging conditions of teachers and students at Ukrainian HEIs related to the state of war. He emphasized the benefits of digital tools in teaching and the difficulties associated with the constant endangerment that he faces in his work.
During the dicussion with teachers and students, he presented examples from real life and uplifted the digital education courses which teachers and students alike had to participate in after the outbreak of the war.
Teachers and students of UPJŠ expressed support to assoc. prof. Shnitzer, as well as to his colleagues from the Uzhorod National University, in their effort to uphold the highest possible quality of education in the unprecendeted war environment.
