From 25 to 28 June 2025, the Aurora Open 2025 event took place at our partner university, University of Innsbruck, bringing together students from all universities forming the Aurora Alliance. The event was a combination of a student conference and a beach volleyball tournament.
UPJŠ in Košice was represented at this event by Simona Gibalová (Faculty of Medicine) as a member of the Aurora Student Council and Lenka Jakubócová (Faculty of Public Administration) and Katarína Ðurčianski (Faculty of Arts) as Aurora Ambassadors. All students actively participated in workshops and peer-to-peer learning activities and had the opportunity to develop their intercultural skills.
The entire conference was marked by sports and cultural exchange among diverse students. We look forward to further international opportunities for our students brought about by the Aurora Alliance.
