Introducing Aurora Alliance to new students

1minút, 8sekúnd

The introductory days for new students at Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice were marked by welcoming first-year students, presenting the faculties, and showcasing the opportunities offered by the university. As part of the programme, there was also a presentation of the European university alliance Aurora, which is an important element of UPJŠ’s internationalisation activities.

At the Faculty of Medicine, the Aurora Alliance was represented by Antonios Karaiskos, Simona Gibalová and Katarina Đurčianski; at the Faculty of Arts by Katarina Đurčianski and Simona Gibalová. At the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Public Administration, it was presented by Lenka Jakubócová and Dárius Krestian. Following the official presentations about the Aurora Alliance, students had the opportunity to obtain more information through discussions with the representatives, ask questions, and take part in an interactive activity at the Aurora Alliance stand. The event created a space not only for sharing information about the alliance, but also for direct communication, which helped spark student interest and strengthened their motivation to participate further in Aurora Alliance activities.

The event became an opportunity for students, teachers and university staff to meet. The participation of the Aurora Alliance student representatives in the matriculation programmes for first-year students at the individual faculties also made it possible to get even closer to the new generation of students at UPJŠ.
