1minút, 12sekúnd

On April 28, 2026, the Go Global information session took place in the Historical Aula of the UPJŠ Rectorate, focusing on presenting international mobility opportunities for students and doctoral candidates. The event was organized by the International Relations and Internationalisation Office of UPJŠ

The aim of the session was to provide participants with a comprehensive overview of available mobility programmes, scholarships, and opportunities for study, research, and short-term stays abroad. The programme was held in a bilingual format to ensure accessibility for international students at the university.

As part of the programme, Dr. Martin Labuda, PhD. from Comenius University presented the DBU scholarship programme and mobility opportunities in Germany, while Ing. Kristína Šoltysová from SAIA introduced academic mobility options, the National Scholarship Programme, and the CEEPUS programme.

The final part of the event was dedicated to the Erasmus+ programme, presented by Erasmus coordinators Mgr. Jakub Paľovčík and Mgr. Miroslava Paľovčík Navrátilová. Participants learned more about short-term and long-term mobilities, study stays, traineeships, as well as practical aspects of the application process and the implementation of stays abroad.

The information session provided not only up-to-date information but also space for discussion and answering questions related to specific mobility opportunities. Participants had the chance to gain valuable advice and motivation for planning their international experience.

International mobility represents a unique opportunity to develop professional, language, and intercultural competences, significantly contributing to the personal and professional growth of students and young researchers.
