Pursuant to Section 78 of Act No. 131/2002 Coll. on Higher Education Institutions and on Amendments of and Supplements to Certain Acts, as amended, based on the proposal of the Dean of the Faculty of Law of UPJŠ in Košice, prof. JUDr. Miroslav Štrkolec, PhD., and after approval by the Scientific Board of UPJŠ in Košice, on 7 March 2025, the Rector of UPJŠ in Košice, prof. MUDr. Daniel Pella, PhD., awarded the honorary title of “Professor Emeritus” to
prof. JUDr. Ján Klučko, CSc.

Professor Pella presented the “Professor Emeritus” appointment decree to Professor Klučko for his significant contributions in the field of science and education during the meeting of the Scientific Board of UPJŠ, which took place on 23 May 2025 in the Historical Auditorium at the Rectorate of UPJŠ.
