About five hundred spectators applauded the members of our University Choir, who delivered a rich program entitled God Give Happiness to This Land on the early evening of Tuesday, January 23, 2024. The impressive concert by Chorus Universitatis Šafarikianae at the Faculty of Medicine Auditorium featured twelve choral pieces with various themes, as well as music by Vivaldi and Mascagni performed by a string quartet.
Chorus Universitatis Šafarikianae under the leadership of conductor Jana Havrilová will celebrate ten years of its existence this year, and the growing number of its supporters is a pleasure and appreciation for the choir members and musicians who pass on the beauty of singing and music not only to the staff and students of the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice, but also to the wider public.
