Commander of the Order of the British Empire Herschel Gluck gave a lecture to the students of the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice

Rabbi Harschel Gluck, who worked as a mediator in resolving conflicts in Sudan and in the former Yugoslavia and who received the title ‘ambassador of peace’ for his tiresome work in the field of reconciliation between different religious groups, visited the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice. His peacemaking activities have been awarded by the British government. In 2013 he received from Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. the medal of the Order of the British Empire. He gave a lecture on reconciliation of people suffering from conflicts in the Historic Auditorium of the Rectorate of the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice in November 10, 2015.
