On 29 May 2025, a meeting of representatives of the management of all faculties of Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice (UPJŠ) and the Vice-Rector for Internationalisation, doc. Ing. Silvia Ručinská, PhD., took place. The meeting was the first in a series of meetings dedicated to sharing best practices at UPJŠ, in line with the UPJŠ Action Plan developed under the project Audit of the level of internationalisation and implementation of internationalisation projects of higher education institutions and research institutions, specifically targeting Objective 7: Supporting mutual learning and networking at UPJŠ in the field of internationalisation.

Expert contributions were presented by representatives of the Faculty of Medicine, who shared their experience, best practices, and recommendations related to cooperation with external recruitment agencies. The Faculty of Medicine has many years of experience in recruiting and admitting international students. Over the years, it has established stable partnerships with several agencies and developed effective processes to support the integration of international students. The discussion also addressed specific challenges in the context of internationalization.

The aim of the meeting was to create a space for sharing experience and presenting recommendations regarding cooperation with international recruitment agencies. Participants agreed on the tasks as well as the topic of the next meeting, which will take place in September 2025.
