In case of the 5-month contract period, extension beyond January (i.e. into February) is possible:

  • after paying the fee for February regardless of the amount of days spent by the student at the dormitory,
  • only if the capacity allows it.

Should the student amass unpaid debt, they will not receive final documentation (e.g. Transcript of Records, Attendance Certificate, Confirmation of Study etc.).

Early termination of the contract is possible only if:

  • you end your studies at our university,
  • you settle the remaining accommodation fees,
  • or you find a replacement for yourself.

If you choose to terminate the contract due to ending your studies at our university, you have to notify the dormitory manager in writing and submit a confirmation issued by our university. The notice period is one month and starts on the first calendar day of the month following the delivery of the notice.

After you check in, please visit the manager’s office in order to sign the contract.

You are required to present:

  • your passport or ID card,
  • 2 photos (size 3cm x 3.5cm),
  • your email address,
  • your phone number.

You will receive two accommodation cards: one must be handed in at the reception, the other card with them and present it at the reception when collecting the room key and when entering the dormitory for inspection by the security staff.

  • You are obliged to provide all the necessary details for payment identification (correct account number, variable symbol, and, in the case of a monthly payment, a specific symbol).
  • The accommodation fee for the first month must be paid within 7 days following the signing of the Accommodation Contract.
  • The subsequent accommodation fees must be paid by the 5th day of the respective month to the bank account specified in your Accommodation Contract, or in cash at the manager’s office.
  • Accommodation fee must be paid in full regardless of how many days you spent at the dormitory in the respective month.
  • The accommodation fee is considered paid only after the financial funds are credited to the accommodation provider’s account.
  • Late payments for accommodation rent will be one of the main reasons for terminating the accommodation agreement.

Apart from the accommodation fee which is paid for on a monthly basis, you have to pay a deposit of €300 in advance.  If there were no damages caused in the rooms or in the common rooms.

The deposit will be refunded in month following the official end of your Accommodation Contract.

You need to provide the dormitory manager with the bank account number to which the deposit should be refunded at the end of your stay:

  • In case of SEPA bank accounts, you need to provide IBAN and BIC/SWIFT code.
  • In case of non-SEPA bank accounts, you need to provide the exact IBAN/bank account number, BIC/SWIFT code, and the exact name and the legal address of your bank (street, street number, postal code, city, country).
