In October 2025, the representatives of the Faculty of Medicine, UPJŠ- prof. MUDr. Želmíra Macejová, PhD., MPH, Ing. Zuzana Zánická, and Mgr. Ivana Kövérová conducted working visits aimed at providing training for partner agencies in Spain and Greece as part of the project Audit of the level of internationalization and implementation of the projects of internationalization of higher education institutions and research institutions.
The trainings were focused on jointly identifying, improving, and eliminating shortcomings in the recruitment process and in communication between the agency, the faculty, and the students. They also discussed proposals to enhance the procedures related to students’ stay in Slovakia, as well as the implementation of the new system for the recognition of educational documents.
In addition, they promoted the new five-year study programme in Dental Medicine and engaged in discussions on supporting the adaptation of international students, exploring opportunities for cooperation in organizing promotional events for high-school students, and strengthening effective feedback between the faculty and partner agencies.
