The Rector of P.J. Šafárik University in Košice received the representatives of the French Embassy in Slovak Republic

Prof. MUDr. Ladislav Mirossay, DrSc., rector of P.J.Šafárik University in Košice, received prof. Gilles Rouet, DrSc., attaché for research, professional and university collaboration on 7th September 2007. 

    Clément Messelet, professional officer of the Collaboration and Cultural Activity Department of the French Ambassy, Barbara Eydely, attaché for the collaboration in the field of French language,  and prof. MUDr. Juraj Kovaľ, CSc., Deputy Vice-Rector for external relations, also participated in the working meeting on the ground of the Rector’s office of P.J. Šafárik University in Košice.

They discussed the possibilities of getting scholarships from the French government in friendly atmosphere:

  • Offer of the scholarships for the students of the master study (4th and 5th year of study). Study stays are actual for the students of medicine and law
  • Research short-term study stays (from 1 up to 6 months) in French laboratories
  • Offer of scholarships for PhD. students (PhD. – co-tutelles)
  • Offer for co-financing of traveling costs for short-term professional exchange scholarships  of academic employees
  • Summer language scholarships for students
