Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba visited our Alma Mater

On the 12th April 2012 UPJŠ Rector Prof. MUDr. Ladislav Mirossay, DrSc., welcomed Her Excellency Ms.  Loipa Sánchez Lorenzo, Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba,  in the premises of UPJŠ Rectorate. The Rector and the UPJŠ  Vice-Rector for International Relations, doc. Mgr. Slávka Tomaščíková, PhD., discussed various issues of social and cultural life with Her  Excellency. They focused on contemporary university education priorities in Slovakia and abroad, as well as the UPJŠ achievements in scientific research and education. They dealt also present social and economic situation in Cuba, increasing tourism and prospects of cooperation in the field of university education.
