The gala evening dedicated to the highest regional awards took place on 23 April 2025 and began at 6 pm in the wonderful premises of the National Theatre in Košice. This year, eleven individuals and three teams received awards in three categories: the Košice Region Award for 2024, the President of the Košice Self-Governing Region Award for 2024, and the Honorary Award of the President of the Košice Self-Governing Region for 2024. For the first time ever, the public also voted for their favourite among the award-winning personalities of the Košice Self-Governing Region via the website www.osobnostiksk.sk.
The Hornád Folklore, Ensemble, which celebrated its 55th anniversary this year, won the awards in two categories:ktorý v tomto roku oslávil okrúhle jubileum, získal cenu v dvoch kategóriách:
The President of the Košice Self-Governing Region Award,
The Public Choice Award of the Košice Self-Governing Region.
The awards, presented by Ing. Rastislav Trnka, the President of the Košice Self-Governing Region, were accepted by Bc. Alexandra Ťasková, the head of the ensemble, and Bc. Patrik Seliga.
