We are proud to share that Simona Gibalová, a 4th year General Medicine student at Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice, has been elected President of the Aurora Student Council (ASC) for the 2025/2026 academic year!
Her election was announced during the Aurora Open 2025 in Innsbruck, where ASC members gathered for their annual board elections. With experience in active involvement in ASC initiatives, including co-authoring the Aurora Students’ Rights Charter and representing Aurora in the European Student Union, Simona brings a wealth of experience, vision, and dedication to her new role.
As President, she aims to strengthen student collaboration across Europe, enhance the Aurora Student Ambassador Programme, and advocate for the voices of students from associated universities. Simona is committed to ensuring the ASC remains a space for growth, knowledge exchange, and meaningful impact.
