On the 9 July 2012 the Rector of P. J. Šafárik University in Košice, prof. MUDr. Ladislav Mirossay, DrSc. and the Rector of Technical University of Košice, Dr.h.c. prof. Ing. Anton Čižmár, CSc. visited the University of Miskolc. The Co-operation agreement of the three universities was signed by the Rector of the University of Miskolc, prof. dr. Gyula Patkó. The Agreement opens the ground for further co-operation in the areas of education and research, as well as in the development of new university science parks in Košice.
