On 7 October 2025, representatives of all faculties of Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice met for the second working meeting dedicated to sharing good practice, this time focusing on issues related to supporting and developing the study of international students. The meeting took place within the framework of the project Audit of level of internationalisation and implementation of internationalisation projects of higher education institutions and research institutions, Objective 7: Supporting mutual learning and networking at UPJŠ in the field of internationalisation.
Participants discussed several key topics, particularly the adaptation of study programmes to the needs of international students, as well as personnel capacity related to their support – from administrative support and cooperation with recruitment agencies to the need for clearly defined capacities at each faculty.
The programme also included an evaluation of the cooperation with recruitment agencies. The participants agreed that this cooperation should continue to be developed, with systematic training for agencies and active, ongoing communication.
Faculty representatives appreciated the opportunity to personally discuss both challenges and successes. In conclusion, they agreed to continue holding regular meetings aimed at fostering long-term cooperation and developing a shared university strategy in the field of internationalization.
