The expert jury recognized her systematic work in developing media literacy, critical thinking, and an inclusive environment that she fosters for her students. She received the award on Thursday, 5 June 2025, during the announcement of the results of the licensed component of the Global Teacher Prize, which brings together inspiring educators from around the world.

“I see school as an amazing creative space where we can grow together with children. We learn to listen to each other, to confront opinions, and when we encounter a conspiracy or half-truth, we re-evaluate it together, look for sources, and so on,” said the award-winning teacher.

The Dean of the Faculty of Arts at UPJŠ, prof. Mgr. Renáta Panocová, PhD., together with the faculty’s entire management, doc. PhDr. Marianna Sedláková, PhD., Head of the Department of Slovak Studies, Slavonic Philologies and Communication, and doc. PaedDr. Ivica Hajdučeková, PhD., Head of the Slovak Studies and Literary Science Division, warmly congratulate our graduate on her achievement.
