Department of History at the Faculty of Arts of UPJŠ in Košice is hosting an Erasmus blended intensive programme Pathways: Historical Tourism and Mobility Studies, which will connect the international students and teachers community with the purpose of delving into the historical aspects of traveling and tourism.
The blended intensive programme offers:
· Expert lectures on tourism in antiquity, legal aspects of traveling, and challenges in historical research
· Student presentations on topics such as the Grand Tour, ecotourism, tourism under totalitarian regimes, and cultural heritage
· Guided tours of the historical center of Košice and the Bankov forest park
· Film evening with discussion: Green Book (USA, 2018)
· Full-day excursion to the Tokaj region, including a river cruise and visits to cultural sites
· Final discussion with Local Nomad and a wrap up
