The workshop focuses on practical support for teachers working with students with specific needs. Together, we will explore how to communicate with these students in a sensitive and clear manner, how to handle challenging situations, and how to protect one’s own psychological well-being at the same time.
Workshop content:
– active listening and empathy in conversation /theory/ practice
– challenging and conflict situations – solution-oriented approach vs. searching for someone to blame
– understanding and strengthening the teacher’s position in dialogue with a student
– case study
The workshop has an experiential and interactive format and includes space for reflection, practical examples from practice, and discussion.
You can choose from two workshop dates:
11 March 2026, 14:00–15:30
17 March 2026, 13:00–14:30
The workshop will be led by Mgr. Lenka Jurčová, psychologist at the University Counselling Centre, in the Slovak language.
