Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice offers a professional development opportunity for university teachers and PhD students through the educational course Teaching Competencies of a University Teacher. On 8 January 2026, participants will have the chance to explore the topic of “Inclusive Education” in a workshop focused on strategies and techniques for ensuring inclusivity in teaching process, covering topics such as cultural competence and adapting teaching materials and methods for students with special needs.
Participants will learn to identify the characteristics of an inclusive teaching environment, adapt teaching to different needs and learning styles of students, and create an inclusive environment that respects and supports student diversity.
