On 31 January 2013 the guests from the Embassy of the Republic of Korea discussed the possibilities of cooperation between Korean universities and UPJŠ. Vice-Rector for International Relations, doc. Mgr. Slávka Tomaščíková, PhD. and the Director of the University Library, PhDr. Daniela Džuganová welcomed the Councilor of the Korean Ambassador, Ms Soon-dong KIM and her two colleagues. After the discussion at the Rectorate and the tour of the University Library at Moyzesova 9, the guests presented the books the Embassy of the Republic of Korea donated to the University Library.
The University Library fund has been enriched with 29 monographs and 6 DVDs about Korean history, culture and philosophy, including a collection dedicated to buddhism and also a cookery book. All publications are in English.
