The members of the university management of the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice received the participants of the 92nd Košice Peace Marathon

The vice-rector for public relations prof. PhDr. Ján Gbúr, CSc., the vice-rector for international relations and mobility doc. Ing. Silvia Ručinská, PhD. and the bursar RNDr. Ing. Michal Tkáč, PhD. of the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice received the international participants of c in the MINERVA building in 5^th October 2015. The invitation had been accepted by Hans Wiggers and Gert Ter Mors who represented the Enschede (NL) partner marathon, by Frederic Van Ded Heede and his wife, who won the bronze medal at the Paralympic Games, and by Tony Vandendriechse and his wife, who is the son of the winner of the 1965 Košice Peace Marathon and who ran the junior relay in his honor 50 years later. The participants were introduced to the history of the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice on the meeting. The invited guests appreciated the participation of the employees and students of the university on the marathon, and they emphasized the need to extend cooperation in the field of sports activities.
