UPJŠ in Košice has Received an Award from Slovak Academy of Sciences

The Award Ceremony of public life figures and of seven Slovak universities took place on June 18, 2013, in Bratislava, on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Slovak Academy of Sciences foundation. President of the Slovak Republic, Ivan Gašparovič, the Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic Robert Fico, important university officials and other guests participated in the event. The award – a medal for Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice was received by the Vice-Rector for Development, prof. MUDr. R. Tkáčová DrSc., as a delegate of the Rector of UPJŠ.
