On 29.1. – 1.2.2023 a innovation mission of representatives of the Slovak start-up ecosystem took place, organized by Košice IT Valley, CIVITTA and SAPIE. More than 40 participants of the mission had the opportunity to visit
- Be’er Ševa Municipality,
- innovation Communities and institutions Cyber7, EIT Hub Israel, CityZone Tel Aviv, Start-Up Nation Central,
- Gam Yam Negev Innovation Park,
- Tel Aviv University Cyber Center,
- DLD Innovation Festival
and attend the Slovakia – The Technology Talent Hub conference.
The aim of the mission was to learn about the system of functioning of the Israeli innovation ecosystems, public and private funding schemes for science, research and technology transfer, security policies to ensure the development and sustainability of the ecosystems and to establish new contacts.
In the framework of the Slovakia – The Technology Talent Hub conference, the cooperation between the Israeli company PlaceSense the Institute of Computer Science of the UPJŠ was presented as an example of good practice of cooperation between the private and academic sectors.
