On Friday, 20 June 2025, an introductory meeting of Aurora Alliance student ambassadors was held with the representatives of the Aurora Student Council – Simona Gibalová and Michaela Lukačinová. The aim of the meeting was to introduce students to the main values and goals of the Alliance and to clarify their future tasks.
The representatives of the Aurora Student Council familiarized the ambassadors with the mission of the Aurora Alliance, which connects European universities with the aim of promoting inclusive, sustainable, and innovative education. The functioning of the Aurora Student Council, international meetings, and how ambassadors can contribute to the student voice at the European level were discussed.
The ambassadors learned that their role will be to organize local events, participate in joint projects, communicate with students, and represent the university at the Aurora Alliance events abroad.
Simona Gibalová and Michaela Lukačinová also shared their experiences from previous conferences and provided information on the latest challenges and topics within the Alliance. The practical details regarding participation in the Aurora Open 2025 Student Conference & Beach Volleyball Tournament in Innsbruck, where the ambassadors will actively participate in the program and represent UPJŠ, were presented at the end of the meeting.
The meeting took place in a pleasant and inspiring atmosphere and laid the foundations for the active and meaningful work of the ambassadors within the international network of the Aurora Alliance.
