Eurocommissioner’s Discussion with the Students of our Alma Mater

On 23 April 2014 Eurocommissioner for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion, Mr. Lászlo Andor was welcomed in the premises of the Historical Auditorium of our university. His visit presented  an opportunity for the students to become more familiar with the theme of the 10th anniversary of the Slovak Republic joining the European Union and to react to the questions raised within the lively discussion.

The discussion was preceeded by a warm welcome of the Eurocommissioner by Prof. MUDr. Ladislav Mirossay, DrSc.,  the Rector of UPJŠ in Košice and doc. Mgr. Slávka Tomaščíková, PhD., the Vice-Rector for International Relations of UPJŠ. During the brief meeting they managed to discuss topics related to European Social Fund or the coordination of Social Security Systems. The Eurocommissioner was accompanied by Ms. Gabriella Kovacs, Ms. Mária Kadrliaková, Mr. Martin Orth and Mr. Tomáš Minárik during his visit.
