Prof. RNDr. Pavol Sovák, CSc., the rector of the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice received prof. Vincent A. Connors, and awarded him the Commemorative Medal of the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice in December 16, 2016. The prestigious award was granted on the occasion of completion of his Fulbright Scholarship programme on the grounds of the Faculty of Science of the P. J. Šafárik University in Košice and for his contribution to the development of the university in the field of science and education.
