On the 26th September, 2013 the UPJŠ Rector prof. MUDr. Ladislav Mirossay, DrSc. along with the Vice-Rector for International Relations Assoc. prof. Slávka Tomaščíková, PhD. welcomed His Excellency, the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany Michael Georg Schmunk with his wife and the Honorary Consul of the Federal Republic of Germany in Košice prof. Dr. Juraj Banský, in the Rectorate premises.
They discussed the current state of mutual cooperation and its successfulness and a great deal of attention was paid to the subject of further development plans of the university.
