The reception of the delegation of the Embassy of France in Bratislava at the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice

Prof. RNDr. Pavol Sovák, CSc. the rector of the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice received the delegation of the Embassy of France in Bratislava at the Pavol Jozef Šafárik Univeristy in Košice in October 19, 2016. The embassy was represented by M. Jean-Pierre Jarjannette, the Counsellor of the embassy in the field of cultural cooperation and the Director of the French Institute in Slovakia, by M. François-Xavier Mortreuila, the Attaché for Scientific and University Cooperation of the Embassy of France in Bratislava, and by the responsible person for university cooperation of the French Institute in Bratislava Mme. Jessica Joyau. The university was also represented by the vice-rector for international relations and mobility doc. Ing. Silvia Ručinská, PhD, by the vice-dean of international relations of the Faculty of Arts doc. Mgr. Renáta Panocová, PhD, and by PhDr. Mária Paľová, PhD. from the Department of British and American Studies of the Faculty of Arts of the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice. The discussion was devoted to the possibilities of mutual cooperation. Both parties agreed that the primary task of today’s society is to support university education.
