The Rector of the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice visited Switzerland with the team of the president of the Slovak Republic

Prof. RNDr. Pavol Sovák, CSc. the rector of the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice visited Switzerland in October 21, 2016 as one of the representatives of the Slovak start-up and scientific and academic community within the frames of the official program of Andrej Kiska – the president of the Slovak Republic. The meeting with the community of Slovaks working at the ETH Zurich and with the researchers who cooperate with the Slovak Republic took place on the premises of the exhibition on Slovakia in the morning. The discussion concentrated on the connection between science and industry, and on the possibilities to support business at the ETH Zurich.  The afternoon programme was devoted, among other things, to the visits of the laboratories of ETH Zurich and to the topic of international academic cooperation.
