UPJŠ visited by Ms Cynthia Carr, an expert of the Fullbright Commission

On the 26 March 2013 Ms Cynthia Carr, an expert of the Fullbright Commission from the University of California, Riverside, visited UPJŠ. The visit was organized by Mgr. Mária Čekešová and co-financed by the Slovak Rector’s Conference. She was met by the UPJŠ Rector, prof. MUDr. Ladislav Mirossay, DrSc. and the Vice-Rector for International Relations, doc. Mgr. Slávka Tomaščíková, PhD. at the Rectorate. In very friendly atmosphere they discussed the possibilities of cooperation with American universities within Fullbright Expert Programme and the importance of contacts with university graduates via Alumni Clubs.
Ms Carr visited the laboratories of the Faculty of Arts in the “Aristotle” building and the University Library building “Gutenberg”. She met prof. Ing. Július Zimmermann, CSc. and the director of University Library, PhDr. Daniela Džuganová.
