In his existing scientific, research and publication activities he focuses on particular aspects of the EU internal market functioning, especially with the orientation on characteristics and specifications of the EU digital market. He also dealt with the cooperation of municipalities with other municipalities and cities within a functional city region, the implementation of selected modern methods that utilize ICT within the smart city conception and E-government.
The scientific research orientation is evident in his engagement in national and international projects in recent years, including Capacity building for an output oriented management in small and medium sized municipalities and Functional city region as an innovative approach for an integrated territorial development in the Slovak Republic conditions. He also acquired experiences as the supervisor of mayors and employees of the self-government units regarding the implementation of the Municipality Data Center, which was introducing E-government at the municipality level.
